Family Mediation Week 2021

Family Mediation Week will be taking place from 18 to 22 January 2021 in order to raise awareness of family mediation and how it can help separating families to manage their issues both collaboratively and productively.

The campaign is organised by the Family Mediation Council, which is a not-for-profit organisation that maintains a professional register of family mediators. All mediators registered with the Family Mediation Council are trained to a set standard and follow the same Code of Practice.

During the week, the Family Mediation Council will be publishing resources, information, and blogs to:

• Explain what family mediation is;
• Help separating couples decide whether mediation is for them;
• Discuss the benefits of family mediation; and
• Connect separating couples with mediation professionals.
